I’m Rosanna Women, Mother, Social Permaculturist , Artist , Creative practitioner, Community organiser… who grew up in Cheshunt, currently based in Pembs, Wales.
My Arts practice is a process of creative mapping and consultation, rooted in people, place and community. I use quite low fi methods of creative consultation to make visible what is present around a subject,Place,building,organisation,People/group and other to inform possible solutions to issues or address missing links.
My most recent work is the on going project of Mapping Broxbourne which was inspired by a conversation & mapping workshop with the Broxbourne Creative Partnership as part of conversations around Arts development & engagement in our borough. It draws on an innate passion to widen the conversation around creativity in the place I grew up. To foster more opportunity for future generations.
Currently I am focused on how to bring what I have learnt in community, permaculture, in my practice to the place that is now our home, between Haverfordwest and St davids is where I reside with my partner, 2 children and my parents.
In a changable season in life, self development , in mother and parenthood…
where is my focus?
What is important ?
how can I share my skills with others here?
What is my place in community?
I’m presently thinking on the permaculture principle
of ‘Intergrate rather than segregate’ and a tool called ‘appreciative enquiry’.
